Finally finished watching The Prowler. While it's probably the sort of transfer that if you were to show it too someone who'd never seen blu-ray before, their response would be, I'm not impressed!, I think it looks great. Grain haters won't like it, but never having seen it before and judging by comparison shots on DvdBeaver, i'm going to throw caution to the wind and say that The Prowler has never looked so good! Plus, Tom Savini's gore effects are top notch, as usual.

When I know I'm near the end of that, I'll probably be the True Blood BDs.
if you aint already seen it Nos, you are in for a treat with Battlestar, i managed the entire 4 seasons and the 3 hour mini series in a week, thats nearly 74 episodes in 7 days....it's very very good...

I haven't seen a single episode so was a complete 'blind buy' based on its reputation as one of the finest TV shows ever made. I do hope to have a week sometime where I only have a couple of reviews to do and can just watch hour upon hour of Battlestar Galactica and do the entire thing in one big marathon.

U should check out Season and so far of Season 3 been as good as Season 1.
Season 2 2nd half kinda felt not as good tbh.

Cheers, stevoj. I've got this on order, so I'm glad to know it's a good release. The old BU DVD was no great shakes, so if this is any improvement at all, I'll be more than happy.

You ever get around to watching Piranha 2 Reaper? Just wondered what the quality was like and if it was anamorphic?
