It hasn't arrived yet, so I have not been able to judge for myself the quality of the release, but reviews seem favourable.

As for the film, it's one I remember really enjoying when I first watched it years ago with a great performance from Cagney as anti-hero Jarrett. When I saw it going fairly cheap I snapped it up to add to the collection. I'm slowly building up my collection of Noir on Blu, not having owned many on DVD.
Nordicdusk likes this.

Just out of curiosity, given some of you chaps but far more than me. Is anyone really up to date when it comes to actually watching your collections?
I feel like there are so many films I want to watch, ones that I own ( and in some cases have for years) and ones that I still want to pick up. But I just don't get the time to.

Is Alice, Sweet Alice uncut on this release or is it still the old BBFC censored version?

I'm currently going through titles I purchased in May last year. So you could say I'm having a little trouble keeping up. I wouldn't say I purchase a lot either, certainly less than some people here.

It's uncut. The cat grabbing/throwing is there.

Got the German ROCKY remastered blu-ray this morning. Another nice reversible cover with the original poster artwork.
