Funny cos I've just literally finished watching Castle Freak. What release did you get? I just bought the Film2000 one in Poundland. I thought the film was brilliant, well acted and well crafted. Shame it was non-anamorphic though, I really think this deserves an Arrow treatment, hint hint Almar and co.

Chocolate, it looked really detailed, worth the few extra quid to upgrade from dvd. Plus you get the really nice looking BD subtites.

Also I watched Raging Pheonix right afterwards on DVD and the thing I noticed the most was that the sound was a lot more dampned and lifeless, Chocolate sounded glorious in comparison.

Love that tagline for My Dear Killer "where fuzz get buzzed" We need more like that on Shameless releases!

Since I picked up HKL's dvd of Seoul Raiders last week, and completely forgot that it was the sequel to Tokyo Raiders (how thick am I?), I just had to buy it, and while I was at it, also ordered the Dutch dvd of JC's Prince Of Darkness.

Was it filmed in 4:3? I think so, but I can see me being wrong and Fullmoon eventually releasing it on BD in widescreen (like Puppet Master).

Watched "Daybreakers". Surprisingly good. New slant on the vamp film.

With a "Making of" that's longer than the film itself.

Who'd have thought that vampires burst into flames in sunlight, not just sparkle.
