With regards to JD, to me Dredd is much more faithful to it's 2000AD origins than the Stallone, but no denying that Sly made a very good Judge Dredd(too bad he took the helmet off, it might have been a different story apart from that)

If we get a sequel with Judge Death on the rampage all bets are off.

Probably helps I'm not particularly familiar with Dredds comic book origins. I reaĺly like both films but i think Stallone's is the more underrated. That's not to say i necessarily think its the better film.

I kind a agree don't think Stallone's dread is as bad as people and critics make out.

Stallone wasn't great but not terrible. It's Rob Schneider as the token comedy sidekick that *really* stinks it up.

It's the fact Rob is supposed to be playing Fergee. The ferg is supposed to be a huge lumbering idiot...

first 10 minutes of block war is great, then the whole film goes downhill from there, would agree mega city one is more similar to the comics visually in the Stallone one.

Just had an email saying saying my order has been cancelled. Apparently I ordered it just after the only copy had been purchased and they didn't update their stock numbers quickly enough. So gutted.
