You shouldn't be worried about Man from Deep River because the (unnecessary in my opinion) animal cruelty isn't there; you don't see the pig being slaughtered, the cockfighting or the monkey being decapitated.

An excellent film that really went under the radar once Peter Jackson went on to Hobbits and such like.

I'm a little annoyed at the UK blu of Non-Stop. It automatically plays in 2.0 LPCM Stereo instead of 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Wtf! You have to manually select 5.1 if you want it.

Loads of dvd's do that unfortunately. If there's a stereo option.

Wonder if it's because the film itself was originally done as stereo and not 5.1?

Not sure. No other blu of the film has 2.0 on it.

Looked at the end of the film (Non-Stop), and it was presented in Dolby Digital and Datasat Digital (and offshoot of DTS apparently). It was never in 2.0 stereo. There should be no reason for StudioCanal to have it on the blu-ray.
