I just got around to comparing them. I thought the Second Sight disc was pretty good as well, but seeing them together shows I was wrong. The Scream Factory disc looks a lot better. It seems a tad darker, which is probably the way it's supposed to be. Grain looks better throughout compared to the older master on the SS disc too. It's defintely a step up.

Thanks for taking the time to compare them - now comes the decision whether to upgrade or not...

My copy The Witch turned up today, having only been dispatched from Canada on Friday - a very speedy turnaround.

I also ordered the below - only £7.99 from Base.com at the moment if anyone's interested.

For the grand sum of £3.

I love The Relic, but strangely have never owned it.

Default which witch is which?

Hmv had a 2 for 20 quid deal on new dvds so got two of my favourite films from this year high-rise and the witch, sadly the latter had no extras. If your a ghostbusters fan i'd recommend Tobin's spirit guide which is a nicely illustrated book about creatures from the original films, comics and video game.
