Just received Mondo Macabro's Spider and The Fox With a Velvet Tail this morning. Happy as wasn't expecting them to turn up yet as had no dispatch email.

Also picked up a selection of blurays from Poundland as they seem to have loads of new stuff but as ever it varies from store to store.

I've been meaning to pop into Poundland since they started doing 2nd hand Blu's. I'd like to pick up Awaydays!

It'll probably be all stuff I'm not keen on.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but as a teen in the 70s this was pre-requisite viewing on TV for the stoner brigade, in the U.S. they would split it in two parts over two days so it was kinda like an event, very , very fond memories, had it on VHS in cropped 4:3 so even this non-anamorphic W/S brings a smile. £2

(what other major film can boast 5 directors)

I like Casino Royale too, much better than that other Bond snoozefest.
I enjoy those stupidly indulgent and bizarre 60's type of movies.
Have you seen 'What's new pussycat?" with O'Toole and Sellers, another film that's all over the place but i love it.

Amazing, What's new was also required viewing back in the day, I was going to post that the two films really go together well, and even more than Casino, Pussycat has a clear psychedelic late 60s feel to it with Sellers very funny as a perv.

Got caught up in a 60s vibe and forgot, I bought OUATIA from Oxfam on BD for £2.99, will pop it into that S.E. DVD box set I bought months ago.

Awaydays was the 1st BD I bought. For a mate's birthday (big Sampson fan). There was FA in my local one. I'm constantly amazed at some of the finds acquired by Labbers ....

Mine gets the occasional worthwhile purchase in but not very often. I wander into Poundland and the various charity shops hoping i might have some of Trebs luck, but no, always the same old shite.
