Today's arrivals from Zoom which were bought with a 25% off code. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Labyrinth, The Magnificent Seven and Passengers were in the 2 for £30, so £11.15 each, and the others more or less £15 each (price before discount £19.99).

Although it will ultimately make no difference because the packaging will be filed away in due course, it's a shame The Magnificent Seven doesn't have a slipcase because it is definitely the odd one out. I haven't seen it, but it has positive reviews and the disc apparently has phenomenal AV quality.

The 4 catalogue titles I've fairly recently bought 4k remaster BDs of, so good choices I really enjoyed Passengers as well.

Yet another town centre charity shop drops it's CD/dvd/BD to 50p each, so copped these two. HG was sealed brand new too. As an aside I was in HMV and there was only one couple beside me in the whole film section at about 5:20pm, so maybe the average punter does just stream or watches Youtube after all. (hope I'm wrong)

If anyone is interested Demoniac has the fully uncut 93(ish) minute version and a cut 66 minute (!!!) version.
I nearly bought all those Black House dvds when I was in HMV. Just to see that amount of Jess on the shelves
Ahem.

This weeks new arrivals.

Guardians 2 was £7 in Morrisons. It's at least £10 everywhere else. The Martian was a still sealed charity shop find for a quid. Mary Poppins from Sainsbury's. I've always wanted to watch it after seeing the excellent Saving Mr. Banks. The rest were MM (very) cheapies, with The Atticus Institute recommended by Demoncrat.

The post is so slow at the moment. I was hoping to watch Witchhammer tonight but it ain't turned up from HMV.
