Just decided to get it as it looks nice in 4k but a shame about the lack of chemistry of the two leads. I ended get rid of most of my 4k collection when my Xbox one broke, but then decided to get a 4k player as it's a bit pointless having a 4k tv without one.

That's why I have the app that I keep tabs of my films , and if I see something I'm not sure of I check it on my phone . I buy a film and straight away I add it to the app

It's why i don't give him likes on the buying thread. I don't want to enable his shopaholic tendancies.

Treb's a top chap otherwise though!

I was out his morning as had to pick up some gardening supplies but couldn't resist popping into the local shopping centre next door and picked up the six French language dvd's for a total of £2 from one charity shop and Rancho Deluxe for 99p from BHF. The Meridian 88 Films bluray was from Cex for £4.

I have a 4K TV (they are the norm in stores now - 1080p models are a rarity) and have no intention of buying a UHD BD player in the foreseeable future.

My 8 year old Sony Bravia 1080p is still working fine. And as long as it is, i've got no interest whatsoever in replacing it.
And after upgrading loads of my dvds to Blu-ray, i haven't got any inclination to do it again.
Even a 4K Suspiria couldn't tempt me.
