Decide to dip my toe into the Criterion collection pool for the first time and buy a couple of Blu Rays.

Repulsion and Night of the Hunter.

Just now awaiting to see if either can live up to the air of class that Criterion has about it. If im impressed I have Kwaidan and Jigoku DVDs sitting in my Amazon basket.

Oh and hopefully my Summer Wars Blu should be here tomorrow!

Just bought:

THE CRAZIES= £10.15 from ebay.com
DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS = £13 from amazon.co.uk marketplace & contains the extra feature-length film THE BLOOD-SPATTERED BRIDE! Great value.
EVIL DEAD & BLADE RUNNER were £5 and £4.75 respectively from priceminister after inviting a friend (gets you a fiver) and getting them to buy me EVIL DEAD and using the first-time-customer code "WELCOME" A nice scam but I'm running out of people to do it for me haha

Just back from Glasgow where I picked up the original version of The Haunting and the BD of the Alien Anthology, which is now in a thick Amaray case with outer sleeve, then popped into Cash Converters and picked up Stephen King's IT for £1.

Amray case for Alien ruins it. It looks utter trashy and cheap tbh.
I have no regrets for buying my Alien Egg set!

I'd be more than happy if everything was released in an amarary case. Digipaks are the spawn of satan.

Ha Ha
Yeah they can be annoying if too big but the Alien Egg makes up for it as the digpack inside that is smaller

The US standard set was much better though with digibook. Amrays imo are too cheap for these SE blurays. Its meant to be a collectors item so needs to be different then any old random movie out there.
