What Have You Bought Recently?

@Justin - I've been sorely tempted by one or two Indicator titles in the recent 2 for ?15 promotion.

If i did get any though that would be the end of my purchases in the October Powerhouse sale.

I'm not planning to get anything in the main sale this time around, I'm still working on the last purchases , will save it for the Easter/Spring sale.

The last two have passed me by due to not having enough to hit the free postage threshold and the fact my decrepit PC can't access the payment screens but a friend is placing an order for me when the sale arrives this time so i've already got my nine standard editions locked in so to speak. I say nine because i'm letting her choose one to make the ten as a thank you for doing the order for me.

A blind buy from HMV. Big Eyes is the only Tim Burton film I haven't seen and didn't know it existed until I saw a ranked list of his films a couple of weeks ago.

Has anyone here seen it?

Yes I have Nos. While perfectly watchable it didn't really do much for me. There was nothing distinctly Burtonesque about it

That's useful to know, thanks. The synopsis and cover art aren't those of a 'typical' Tim Burton film, but it sounds interesting and, even if they are flawed, his films are rarely dull or have little (particularly in terms of the visuals and music) to appreciate.
