Was it through Amazon's international sales? I've always found them to be surprisingly fast.

Any imports i've made from Amazon US via the UK site have always arrived much quicker than the assigned date.

It's good because you can also track them from leaving whichever Amazon warehouse to the airport, then sitting at a UK airport for three days before arriving via Royal Mail.
