Which one is it - the original release from X-Rated or the 2 disc edition from Coprenicus (or whatever the label is called)?

It's the original one disc version from X-Rated. I haven't seen the film before, so don't quite know what to expect!

Oh, the X-Rated edition looks bad - I wouldn't say it was unwatchable but it's pretty poor.

The film itself is ok, nothing special though.

I've just had a look at the disc and it appears to have some of the same specs as the second disc on the Copernicus release: anamorphic 1.85:1 and Italian credits. However, there are no forced subtitles on the English language track. This may be different when I put it in my DVD player as I've just been having a look via my PC.

It's seems you've got the remastered edition - the old dvd is non-anamorphic (1.66:1) and looks bad.

I know -- I saw your update at DVD Compare! This is definitely 1.85:1 anamorphic and, just from flicking through, the quality looks very good but far from outstanding which is about par for the course with this sort of release.
