You really taking advantage of your multi-region player, aren't you Reaps?!

I'll have to add Carrie to my wishlist as it's one of my favourite de Palma films and one of my all-time favourite horrors.

Just back from HMV, where I picked up these 2 lovelies. I would have bought the Paul steelbook, but not at the £25 they were asking for instore.

Last night I watched:

FRIDAY THE 13th PART 2: Hadn't seen it for years and it was a lot better than I remembered.

AMER: Gets off to a good start and then turns into one of the most boring, self indulgent, pointless films I have ever seen. Only good point was the soundtrack which featured music from CASE OF THE SCORPIONS TAIL, GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH and WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOUR DAUGHTERS.

That'll happen to me sooner or later! I probably have more than I realise but feel the need to complete my Blue Underground BD set first.

Nice purchases, but I bet you paid way more than the prices on HMV.com! My copy of Witchfinder General arrived yesterday and I can't wait to give it a watch to see what difference the restoration has made.

How long did it take you to remove the certification certificates from the True Grit Steelbook?

Haven't opened True Grit yet Nos. I might wait until I've bought more protective sleeves.

Given the prices Reaper was quoting the other day, I'm quite surprised at how small the difference between store price and the online equivalent really is.
