The reason I gave "Hurt Locker" a try is that supposedly it could be basically any war. It's simply the guys doing a job.
A genuine war flick.

Unlike the other movie shite involving Iraq which is all West hating, American soldier loathing, Pro-Islamist, hypocritical, pseudo-liberal, self hating, propaganda for the enemy.
Hitler would have ****ing loved the Hollywood/U.S. & Uk TV we have today. He'd be portrayed as a misunderstood victim with ideas for a better world.
Or perhaps not...As he foolishly didn't label 'National Socialism' a religion.

He endeth the politics.

Like a bit of shuttleworth myself never knew this was released on dvd!

Haven't been very vocal on here reccently, guess i've just been a bit shy anyway what I've watched (that i can remember at the mo) this year so far:

Black devil doll: disappointing, thought this could of been good, been wanting to see it for ages, since I first saw the trailer ooooh over a year or so ago. It's rather immature toilet humour just wasn't my thing.

Seven blood stained orchids: great giallo film, really enjoyed it. Awesome soundtrack and some nice stylish kills. Would love to see this in a yellow sleeve

Wheels on meals: Super fun Jackie Chan flick, with (as expected from Mr Chan) some awesome fight scenes and stunts.

Terrorvision: Silly but agreeable fun Charles Band production, with a cool monster (kinda reminded me of the monster from Deadly Spawn)

Badboy Bubby: Finally saw this after years of people recommending it to me. Brilliant, dark, disturbing yet funny film that somehow manages to come out with a bizarre and poignant feel good vibe about it.

It came to £33 for that lot, which I thought was decent.

Picked up what appears to be an almost complete collection of 1990's Vipco videos & DVDs for £12. Haven't counted them in total but there's well over 70 titles in there (some duplicated as video/DVD), which ended up filling several cardboard boxes.

Most of these will be Amazon'd or eBay'd.
