My pre-orderd shameless new york ripper showed up saturday morning.

It looks 'bloody' marvelous (ahem) certainly the best i've seen it, the cuts are very minimal, strangely the bottle-to-crotch and eye slicing are totally intact... but its the scene of the hookers body getting carved that is missing. (shameless have edited round this brilliantly so no jarring vipco style cuts)

The extra stuff is neither here nor there for the plot but is interesting nontheless.

If you havent ordered it yet get it bought, its rather good!

Just watched THE CROW for the first time since I was about 8 (I think) and I forgot how good it was and how beautiful it is to look at. It's weird seeing Brandon Lee taking so many bullet hit's though, considering what happened.

Just bought Creepshow DVD's myself. Bought all three brand new as a bulk buy on eBay. First one is a 2-Disc special edition. Don't know why I didn't already own these movies actually. Whenever I felt like watching them I would always borrow them. Finally I have them for myself.

I think I might have to buy THE CROW Pete, as its one I haven't seen. I watched DARK CITY the other night for the first time though and loved it, Proyas certainly directed it with flair and the sets were incredible.

I had a good postal day today with all of the following arriving woop! Those should keep me going for a bit. Really looking forward to the very imminent release of DON'T LOOK NOW too!

Yeah, THE CROW is really good, I picked it up in HMV for £7 which I thought was decent. I bought that copy of DARK CITY from CEX but I haven't watched it yet.

Nice haul oaxaca - I'm hoping that my Akira Steelbook will be waiting for me when I get home.

The Crow is a great film - I didn't realise it was available on Blu yet though, so that's good news!

Same here. The last time I watched The Crow, I accidentally put the disc in the wrong way so watched the pan & scan version -- D'oh!

Dark City is a great film and the Blu-ray is exceptional with great picture quality and a thoroughly immersive soundtrack.
