The pic quality of the region 2 one isn't very good (ntsc to pal transfer) I seem to remember.

why did they never release the second boxset in the U.K. Seems silly

I see,i don't have a multi region dvd so i'll wait for a better uk release

Have you looked on the Internet to see if there's a region hack which can make your player multi region?

Found this on axel and it sounds very interesting...

When this movie was origionally released it was horribly butchered by the studio, now we get guillermero del toros orgional vision with a bunch of extras.


Shall be looking forward to this one, so long as its region free.

(p.s. These hackable players, how do they fare with the constant firmware updating? )

its $9.99 plus postage on amazon US atm
after postage it works out just over £10

I know I shouldn't, but I think I'll order one of those. I didn't think the UK version was that badly put together but I'd love to see Guillermo del Toro's official cut and listen to his commentary.

found Messiah of Evil on amazon, so thats on standby for fri methinks...and i found The Visitor as well, sadly i like to eat, so @one a month, itl only take me 5 years to catch BDC up harumph!

It was mentioned on another forum that it was because the first box didn't do much business.
