Keep an eye out on ebay, tesco_outlet have put a few on lately as refurbs with 12 months warranty for about £45.

Not a brilliant player (Wont play T2 skynet edition) but will do all region on DVD and switchable between A, B & C for Blu. Wouldn't worry about a firmware update removing this facility, as no matter how many times I try, I can't get the thing to connect for any firmware updates.
Thanks for the advice, I'll keep an eye out for one

Moving away from hardware for the time being, I just bought the Psycho Steelbook from PlayTrade. I already have the normal version, but I love Steelbooks!

Must. Curb. Spending.

Just bought:

3 for a tenner from TheGameCollection.net. Ex-Blockbuster stock apparently so not in the best condition perhaps but worth it for a tenner. Never saw Public Enemies, syspect The Spirit is a load of cack but fancy it anyway and feel like giving Drag Me to Hell a reappraisal. Will report back on the quality of the discs/boxes/inlays etc

Do let us know, please. I've been looking around at a couple of forums and I can't see anyone that has confirmed this yet.

Just back from Glasgow, where I picked up the Scarface steelbook. Still a little annoyed that it doesn't include a dvd of the original film like the US steelbook. And while the artwork is ok, how cool would a steelbook with the black & white poster art been? VERY!

I've just had my soul torn apart in HD for the first time. I must say, I thought it looked and sounded fantastic, my only complaint is sometimes the on screen blood looks like melted wax crayon, Dawn of the dead style, espescially during the scene where Frank is hanging upside down and spinning. Other than that I thought the effects looked good, in particular the resurrection of Frank. The last time I watched this I watched it with the commentary track on so this time I thought I'd try the Fact Track instead, which seemed to be basically the same as the commentary and nowhere near as good as the trivia track on my 2 disc Pulp Fiction dvd. Overall, a decent upgrade to HD hellraiser blu.jpg

my review for dressed to kill finally appeared on amazon.

Dressed to Kill [Blu-ray] [2010] [US Import]: Amazon.co.uk: Michael Caine, Keith Gordon, Dennis Franz, Angie Dickinson, Nancy Allen: Film & TV

Excellent disc (though to be fair, I cannot recall ever seeing this film looking bad.)
