Well the mediocre TPM looks awesome, only thing is,some of the CGI,especially on the Naboo battlefield looks TOO much like a Pixar film.....started on the better EP.II AOTC which also looks awesome.
Can't wait to reach the originals.

These are possibly the best looking BD's I've seen so far.....
Sam and Rik like this.

Saw EMPIRE at the cinema in 80/81, Odeon Leicester Square I think. Looked and sounded amazing at the time, far better than any home version I've seen since, not really a fan if I'm honest. I do have the VHS box of the first 3 SE versions, Have lent a dvd and just thought it looked better, but didn't make me run out and buy it. Now if we're talking EPISODE ONE RACER on the N64 that's another story, and wildly off-topic, far more fun than the film IMHO. May the force bop Lucas over the head and make him release the originals on Blu.

The 'touched up' versions of the original STAR WARS movies got me into the series (I was 10 when they re-released them) so I'm not that bothered the original versions aren't included.

Just bought a copy of 'Curfew' (1989) from CEX. Anyone know if it's bad in a good way? The reviews are all negative on IMDB.

im just glad Speilberg dont go in and redo CGI in this old flicks apart from ET but that was more of a "moral" thing then anything else.

Get to see Jurassic Park on blu without any CGI messing up.

edit:
just placed me order for Straw Dogs

Where did you get it from Nos? Was it a bargain?

I bought it a year ago from eBay for £21 delivered -- it took some tracking down!
