Everything Martin Scorsese has directed, including early films like Boxcar Bertha and Who's That Knocking at My Door.

I'm not so sure... a lot of his later stuff could easily be remade and would probably be better for it too.

Yes. Plus Gangs of New York too.

The Departed itself is a remake, so that one has already been done by the man himself.

I don't think I'd want to see another remake of Infernal Affairs.

Also, I'd much rather see a film based on an original idea!

Indeed. Originality is always key (albeit difficult to pull off for varying reasons), but I certainly wouldn't be against any of the aforementioned Scorsese titles being remade someday. None are 'untouchable classics' in my opinion. Now After Hours and Taxi Driver are a different matter entirely!
