I beg to differ!

I get Nos, but who's this other so-called 'respected' member that you speak of?!

Alternately why wouldn't i pay a few pounds for a recommendation from your good self?

I'll take some stuff to CEX tomorrow, methinks.

Edit - Hang on! It's Vera Farmiga! How can it not be good?
It's tosh.

..and this is coming from someone who enjoyed Insidious. I would rather you watched it and made up your own mind though; expense be damned!

I wanted to step in and say my piece, I saw the conjuring and it blended in with sinister and insidious as all films that had the occasional moment, but nothing that really distinguished them from each other.
If you enjoyed the other films mentioned then give it a go.
Otherwise wait for an inevitable t.v showing, then at least yo haven't spent anything.

I wanted to keep the list specific to witches (and wizards), either about witchcraft, magic, a witch, or featuring a witch in an important scene. In alphabetical order, these are my top 13 (an appropriate number for the subject):
  • The Blair Witch Project
  • Coraline
  • Halloween III: Season of the Witch
  • Howl's Moving Castle
  • Mary Poppins
  • Monty Python and The Holy Grail
  • ParaNorman
  • Roman Polanski's Macbeth
  • Rosemary's Baby
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
  • Suspiria
  • The Wizard Of Oz

Well, it's that time again and i'm late as usual.
I've struggled with this and was going to do a top ten witchy films and a ten devil based, then i got confused about categories so decided to mash 'em all up into a top twenty and say screw it.
So here goes.

Horror Hotel (City Of The Dead)
Rosemary's Baby
Night Of The Demon
The Omen
Mephisto Waltz
Suspiria
Inferno
Viy ( seems hardly anyone knows this Russian horror, but i love it)
Haxan
Witchfinder General (i know they're not real witches, but it's still about witches)
Simon King Of The Witches
The Witches (Roald Dahl)
Bell, Book And Candle
Warlock
The Devils
Wicker Man ()
The Black Cat
Race With The Devil
Kikis Delivery Service
Black Sunday

Just a question, will the categories always be horror/cult based or will we expect some kind of genre expansion at some point?
