It turned up on a few list nos. In fact I think I'm in the minority in thinking its awful.

I don't think it's awful, but it's not funny for the most part. It's not a series i'd ever purchase.

Not had a chance to submit a list tho week again sorry about that. I will be stepping away from the forum for awhile having some personal issues at the minute and if I have nothing positive to contribute then I should not contribute at all. I hope to make arrangements for someone to take over while I'm away and keep the thread moving forward just one more topic not to leave the thread high and dry. Don't get emotional I'll be back soon

If like me you love a good explosion and some cheesy one liners and some over the top plots then you must love......

80s Action Movies

So tell us what are your Top Ten from the golden era of cheese and larger than life action hero.

Sorry to hear that Nord, but all the best to you and hopefully see you back on here soon as your contributions are always welcomed.

Plus, we can't let you leave your Lugosi reviews thread that easily

Take care.

Now to start taking a look at '80s action - not one of my favourite sub-genres I admit, but an interesting topic for sure.

That's what I thought, but a provisional look at my DVD collection has turned of a surprising number of great films from the 1980s with 'action' as one of the genres. There are bound to be quite a few I've already missed but, so far, this is what I'll be working on to whittle down to 10 films, removing some and adding others:

Aliens
Batman
The Terminator
RoboCop
Mad Max
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
A Better Tomorrow
Lethal Weapon
Die Hard
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Killer
Top Gun
Escape from New York
Big Trouble in Little China

This one will probably be a bit more difficult for me and I might have to think outside of the box to come up with 10. The likes of Lethal Weapon and Die Hard didn't really appeal to me way back when and since then I've developed different tastes but I'll see what I can do!

The original Mad Max was 1979 Nos. But part 2 or 'The Road Warrior' is an excellent choice.
