Current ones I've seen in order, largely dependant on my addled memory.

1. Bird With The Crystal Plummage
2. Suspiria
3. Cat O Nine Tails
4. Deep Red
5. Sleepless
6. Opera
7. Pelts
8. Phantom of the Opera
9. Jenifer
10. The Stendhal Syndrome

I'll add and reorder this week as appropriate. I've got Inferno, Phenomena and Dracula to watch for the first time plus I'd like to rewatch Suspiria and Deep Red.

Just a reminder.

Phenomena (1985)
Opera (1987)
Two Evil Eyes -The Black Cat (1990)
Trauma (1993)
The Stendhal Syndrome (1996)

My rationale is that Giallo was a mess as much due to interference and represents the terminal decline of Argento as a talent

Mother of tears is the final chapter of a trilogy whose films I REALLY like. (Inferno would always be in a top ten films of all time for me.) So mother of tears was a bigger dissapointment.

Also missed Tenebrae (for some reason). This should go at 10. Bumping phenomena down to 11. I blame early mornings and being in a rush to go to work...

Great topic for this week!

I suppose we're not counting his cut of Dawn Of The Dead, or anything like that. So, my fave Argento flicks would probably be...

10. Sleepless
9. The Cat o' Nine Tails
8. Opera
7. The Bird with the Crystal Plumage
6. Four Flies on Grey Velvet
5. Deep Red
4. Phenomena
3. Inferno
2. Tenebrae
1. Suspiria

Close call between Suspiria and Giallo though
