Three times actually. I didn't notice there was no Smallville. Rectified now.

I was tempted to use all the different Doctor Who versions which would have possibly filled the top 10.

I love the Doctor Who theme too and am quite tempted to do just that!

For me it's head and shoulders above everything else. Plus the fact it's seen as a piece of groundbreaking music and influences artists to this day.

@Nos - Your videos for The Soprano's The Wire and True Blood won't play on other websites. Same goes for your True Blood vid Justin.

How the theme came about:

Always liked that sketch.

As I have not knowingly seen an episode of Doctor Who, I'd have to listen to the videos of the opening credits to do something like that.

I Included the Peter Gunn theme in my top 10, but it is a very famous piece of music in its own right, with some people unaware of its provenance, and was, as a mix with 'Every Step You Take' used in an episode of The Sopranos, and is on 'Peppers and Eggs', the second CD of music from the series.

Brilliant! Not seen that before. Walliams and Gatiss. What was it from?

That's excellent – even I got some of the references to actors and costumes!

I love the way David Walliams and Mike Gatiss (bisexual/pansexual and homosexual, respectively) really play with the sexuality of the characters.

I've replaced them with different videos – do they work now?
