Nordy has asked me to step in with a subject because Bela was delayed flying in from Transylvania.

I don't know why he didn't just phone the subject in as that's what he does with most of his performances.

Anyway this weeks subject is

Horror films based on novels or literature.

Big thank you to Dem for stepping in at such short notice really appreciate that

Great topic when I was looking it up last week there are quite a few I didn't realise were based on books. This topic goes nicely with what I originally wanted for this thread the voyage of discovery I have been put on to a good few films I have not seen before based on peoples lists and this is no exception just like I said discover some of my favourite horrors were actually based on novels so not only will I discover new films from other lists I will also discover new books to read.

Thanks again Dem

Something like Taste the Blood of Dracula (a real fave of mine) won't feature because it isn't really based on the original source novel. Yes it features a character from a novel but that's it. It isn't actually an interpretation of literature.

Is that helpful?

Yeah I was just being facetious haha!
I might not even feature a Dracula adaptation because I just remembered that this will include Stephen King!

You can include his mini series if you wish.
