I once started watching The Awakening but switched it off as Rebecca Hall's entire presence annoyed the **** out of me for some reason. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, although she annoyed me in The Town too so who knows.

Snowpiercer is the only one I would struggle to make an argument for. Even then Chris Evans monologue near the end when he details the lengths he went to too survive is probably one of the darkest moments of the film and outdoes a lot of horror.
