I'm still confused about this weeks topic and i thought it was only fair to the previous guys to ask, foreign language films - does it mean any foreign film or just the foreign films that have never been dubbed into english???

If they've been dubbed into English at some point they probably count, but I can't think of any which I would consider shed that bill. The only non-English horror films which would be on my list have been remade rather than dubbed.

Can you give an example of the ones you are considering?

Good question. A lot of films were made sans any dialogue on set and dubbed based on territory. For example I'm fairly certain Jessica Harper is speaking english in suspiria

I'd consider Suspiria to be an English-language film. Most, if not all, of Dario Argento's films are primarily English. Perhaps the only exception would be Deep Red, which doesn't really have a defined language, but most scenes have English dialogue as the primary language.

To be on the safe side, stick to movies which have a defined locality and were recorded in a certain language, whether it is French, Spanish, Korean, German, Japanese, Portuguese or Italian.

Ok Anything Dario Argento,Lucio Fulci, Bava. Obviously all mostly shot foreign language then released in English dub in U.K/ America. whereas other films were only ever released with subtitles in the Uk. eyes without a face etc.
