Eh... my lists are generally nostalgia and gut instinct.
Which is why i put Mad Monster party in my Karloff list.

Nos no.1 is the more academic led of us two.

I found it difficult to have a list of 10 films and almost impossible to put them in order – it could easily have been a top 30 or 40 – and the reason for the two is because I (as I have said before) can see a difference between a film I objectively think is brilliant but don't particularly enjoy and wouldn't watch for fun and one I really enjoy but don't think is great in every respect.

If these lists were twice as long, there would be probably be a lot of crossover with films such as Alien, Toy Story, The Night of the Hunter and 12 Angry Men appearing on both.
