DANNY HUSTON
I'm not including Leaving Las Vegas because he only had a tiny role as a bartender.

Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite films involving a member of the Huston family. For this week, try and think more about film titles rather than the movies themselves, and what you think constitutes a great film title. It could be that it is short and impactful, long and fun to memorise, or simply sounds great to say. In might be best to stick to English film titles, not that they are films in the English language, but (one of) the titles under which he films released in a predominantly English-speaking country. However, if you have an affinity for the original or one of the re-released titles in a non-English language, then feel free to include those. FILM TITLES |

Top 10 Film Titles The more lurid the better! Blood on Satan's Claw (1971) The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave (1971) Blood and Black Lace (1964) The Pirates of Blood River (1962) Death Walks on High Heels (1971) Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968) The Thing from Another World (1951)* The Vampires Night Orgy (1973) The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973) Ghost Ship** ** There have been several films titled Ghost Ship over the years and the majority have been a total let down. The idea of a ghostly ship or a ship that's haunted should make a terrific movie but the only decent ones i can think of that deal with the subject well are the 1980 films The Fog and Death Ship. |
