Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite Canadian horror films. The topic for this week is quite wide and will include everything from historical epics to offbeat comedies and from westerns to horror films. FILMS SET IN THE DESERT |

Quote:
The opening of The Exorcist is my favourite part of the film but i'd not really like to argue that the film is set in the desert. |

That's surprising. For me, Near Dark, The Hills Have Eyes (original and remake), The Hitcher, Pitch Black, Tremors, Revenge, Wolf Creek and Duel come to mind straight away. In my not be a horror film, but Rubber has some horror elements as well as comedic and surrealist ones.
