Are you a fan of that one? I LOVE it. I caught it on Sky Movies Gold around the time Bram Stoker's Dracula came out at the cinema and I've loved it ever since. I was so pleased that Shout did the two-discer with the original colour timing.

Wasn't Indicactor supposed to be releasing it? I wonder when theirs is coming? Should be a good package.
Yeah I've got the SF disc.

Some of those pics look quite similar to some of the settings in Curtis's film...

The first pic is of the Camelot Castle Hotel - that's the home of Dr Seward (Donald Pleasence) and his asylum in the film.

From IMDb:

Filming Locations
Edit
Trakoscan Castle, Croatia
(Dracula's castle in long shots)
Yugoslavia

Oakley Court, Windsor Road, Oakley Green, Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK
(Carfax Abbey)
4 of 4 found this interesting

So that pic is in Croatia, then?

I'm sure you know this, but Oakley Court is in Bray, where they filmed loads of Hammer films, Rocky Horror and Girly. The HR manager at the last firm where I worked in London was obsessed with Rocky Horror and she would hire Oakley Court for training seassions and team building exercises - it's a lovely building

A thumbs up from me for the BBC Dracula. It’s excellent.

Found out this morning Ben Wheatley is filming his latest project in town.
Generation Z. A horror comedy series with Robert Lindsay and Sue Johnston. I'll see if I can get some pics in the next few days. There's a post apocalyptic army barracks been built just up the road.
