Sure is Paul.
That's the cover I had on the original UK sell-thru.

I remember it clearly-I had my eldest daughter in her buggy and it was Virgin megastore in Stirling-I bought this and Silence of the Lambs-the guy looked at the videos I handed him,at the toddler in the pram and then at me.
His face was a picture......

Bad news on Videodrome. Someone on blu-ray.com has the Italian Universal BD, likely to be the same as the UK, and it's the R-rated cut. Also looks a bit over-sharpened from the caps I saw.

Probably similar to the looks I got the day i was in town pushing my daughter's pram and wearing a Cannibal Holocaust t-shirt.

Haha! I should have licked my lips as I caught their eye!

There's a LOT of elderly people here (frigging Tory constituency too) so there were quite a few funny looks that day!

Typical, the UK gets fobbed off with sub-standard product again. I'll stick with my Criterion DVD set. If Universal can't sort out a proper uncut release, then they shouldn't have bothered at all. Get with the program, Universal.

Anyone got an email addy for Universal so I can rant at them? They need to know they're going to lose sales if it's the R-rated cut of the film.

I actually really struggle to get to grips with the reasoning of whichever monkeys are behind the product control.

'Oh, let's just chuck out that old cut version. It looks a bit crap too but it'll do. I'm sure Noone will care or notice.'
