To be honest I think it's absolutely bonkers. I simply don't see the sense of selling 2 identical discs in the same package. Seems totally pointless to me.

A member on another forum intended to buy the DVD but didn't bother at all in the end. No point paying £15 for two identical discs, whatever the format (why would Blu-ray owners need a DVD copy too?). I don't see why Arrow couldn't have increased their sales by selling two separate releases.

There is that excellent point of course.

Can't see the sense in this whatsoever or am I missing something?
The DVD release does seem pointless as those with a DVD player who are contemplating the switch to Blu-ray in the near future should buy the package with the BD and DVD.

Disney are doing exactly the same with all their new releases. I don't know if some people would be put off by the words Blu-ray on the cover if they only have a DVD player.

Minority Report Blu

Its meant to have a 7K remaster and meant to look amazing on blu, its a awesome scfi thriller but the UK version is only 1 Blu and 1 digital copy so all extras inc HD new extras are crammed into one bluray. Might have a lower bitrate then the US version with 2 Blu disks and extras on 2nd disk.

Good thing about UK version is better artwork and STEELBOOK!!

I didn't really like Minority Report - much preferred the Philip K. Dick story and, as for The Wolfman, what an utter mess! It's a film that shows every single re-shoot, change of director and desperately bad dialogue! Bored me silly in the cinema.

Needless to say, neither will be on my Blu-ray wanted list!

The only situation I can think of is for people who may have upgraded their main living room kit, but stil run a DVD player in the bedroom or such. I can actually think of a few people who would benefit from this.

From the comments I've received I can only find people who wouldn't.

I just found out The Spaghetti Western Trilogy is making it's way to the shelves in a couple of weeks.
