Those CDA sets are lovely!

A missed opportunity by Studio Canal...time to take a leaf out of Scream Factory and Arrow's book....REVERSIBLE COVERS!

Here's a review of the Aussie 'The Brood' - this is the same transfer as what Second Sight are using, so thought I'd post it here.

I imagine it's a misguided feeling that anything remotely old fashioned looking will put off 'The Kids'. Hence making it look all slick, shiny, and soulless . . .

Yeah I guess that's true. On a similar subject of kids and older films, I see the young 'uns are saying Evil Dead ripped off Cabin In The Woods! This is the reason remakes suck. Brainless idiots!

Some ad execs no doubt say "If we don't use original artwork people will think 'na, I got that already' so we can sell more units if they think it's a new/different film" or some such nonsense, I wonder tho, how many people will buy The Evil Dead on disc and end up with the wrong version? "Hey who's this Bruce Campbell guy? He wasn't in it at the cinema."

Unbelievable. Some people really need a movie education before speaking.

Really need to check out High School of the Dead. Boobs and zombies seems like a winning combo.
