I'm not sure about how English friendly it is -- I would be shocked if it didn't have an English track -- but the picture shows the FSK sticker being peeled back from the top right hand corner.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's still about £20 with conversion rates which is more than I'd be willing to pay. Although it is for both films and it's the only Tarantino I haven't upgraded to in HD...hmm...

I'm not too bothered about upgrading either Kill Bill film from DVD as I have the Japanese uncut version of Volume 1 and wasn't that keen on Volume 2.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, on the other hand, is one I own multiple times but will look into buying that version just for the artwork and packaging!

Even though kill bill artwork is good its still too much for me too.
I was very disappointed that the Japanese blu ray was not uncut as they just used the same transfer as US.

I may pick up the Jap dvd of part 1 as I doubt we will ever see "The Whole Bloody Affair".

I'm still holding out for it. It does exist and considering Tarantino's involvement with the transfers of the Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown blurays I genuinely think (or hope!) that it's only a matter of time before the newly edited 35mm print of The Whole Bloody Affair gets an HD release. It's been the only reason I've held out from buying the existing blurays.

if Tarantino etc ever get round to releasing THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR which was wrongly advertised on dvd around the same time he made INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, a publicity stunt if there ever was one, it will probably be a 15th Anniv Ed or whatever
until then I'm happy with my uncut Jap dvds of KILL BILL 1/2

Cynicism alert! What would he gain from erroneously announcing this? It's something he's been open about wanting to do for quite some time; it seems more likely that he's prioritising other things.

I'm not sure, but I guess at BD of the film, a DVD of the film and DVD of extra features. If it's a DVD set, it will be the film and two DVDs of special features, similar to the 2008 Second Sight Films Seriously Ultimate Edition.
