I'll take a Rabid Dogs BD too. Brilliant film and one of the greatest endings ever.

The shorter 'unfinished' bava one is excellent, I wasn't so keen on the longer cut with added scenes from bava jnr. Thought it weakened the film.

I also really like the cover art. At first glance it seemed a bit too simplistic and Tron but, given the title, that's probably exactly the point!
UK Blu-ray is supposed to be really naff too.

I really liked it on first viewing, but it's been ages since I last saw it and should really go through my two 'Bava boxes' again – the only one I wasn't keen on was Roy Colt and Winchester Jack.

I read that somewhere, which is why I haven't upgraded. However, I don't think any release in the Criterion Collection has disappointed, so I'll probably buy it without waiting for any reviews to surface.

Out of interest, where is best to buy Criterion releases from? And by best I mean cheapest. Most of them crop up for about £19 on Amazon marketplace, anywhere cheaper?

I ordered some from Barnes & Noble when they had a 50% off sale but, since then, it's been Planet Axel every time.

BluBastard.com may have a couple cheaper than axel but in general I'd go for planetaxel like Nos says. I'd watch out for customs charges if you order a blu ray over £15 on amazon marketplace.

Amazon.com were doing a $19.99 sale on criterion titles not so long ago, may still be on. Again, customs may get you if its over $23 ish

Sorry I know it's the wrong thread but quick question, I just placed an order for 3 US Blu-rays from allyourmusic on amazon. Total comes to £24.96 before shipping, would that get stung at customs or will I be okay? Never ordered an order of more than 1 item from the US before and I'm getting a little paranoid.

EDIT: Just noticed the post above, think I will cancel and order one at a time

I'm pretty sure allyourmusic dispatch items seperately, so you should be okay, as long as each item is below the £15 customs threshold.
