Creepshow 2 is coming on blu ray from Image, not sure of the date,

The Haunting, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Begining, and IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS coming from Warner in October, and also heavily hinted at, a complete Friday The 13th Boxset on Blu Ray around Halloween.

Also there's apparently a Halloween 35th Anniversary edition coming out, hopefully utilizing the new 4K theatrical transfer.

No idea about these, but there are Theatrical 2K's of Duel and Play Misty For Me out now, so maybe a blu ray will come soon, along with River's Edge, which there has been a 2K for a while.

I was under the impression Arrow were getting screwed over by the italians. All the stuff they sourced from america looks great.

RE: the Friday the 13th box set on 13th September I am a bit gutted these aren't getting individual releases but even more peeved that the set contains Freddy vs Jason and the bloody remake, I personally could have done without those two.

I dont mind personally. I had the same issue with the omen boxset on dvd but then reasoned that omen 4 and the dreadful omen remake are films I wouldent normally own, but having the boxset gives me an excuse. Same with Jason X which I dislike way more than FVJ. As a completist I would like them all. (and i'd like all the gore re-instated now paramount has dropped the rights and someone else is re-issuing them!)

I've only seen Freddy vs Jason while horrendously drunk, it was quite enjoyable under those circumstances.

I quite like Freddy vs Jason in a 'so stupid it's okay to laugh' way, but can't stand the remake so, like you, could have done with it being omitted from the boxset.

I think they're bound to get individual releases eventually. Probably early next year.
