Don't really need another copy of Halloween, but if that's region free, I'll be getting that!

Tbh, I'm not really impressed with the extras. The current disc will do me just fine.

I've resisted picking up Halloween on BD so far, as I knew there would be a better edition right around the corner. So this one will be a definite purchase, for me.

I'm sure somebody will be saying exactly the same thing in two years when this film is released again on BD to commemorate its 37th anniversary...

It'll be a different format by then. Purple-ray or some such thing.

Same here. I have 2 versions on DVD and the bluray already so already have all the old extras on here and aren't too bothered about a new commentary or new interview. Wonder how he new transfer stacks up though as the current BD is really good.

I thought the current Blu-ray held up well but it was the source of a lot of controversy because the colour palette was altered quite radically - will certainly make for interesting reading once the reviews of this new disc hit.

I own the US Blu-ray, the 2-disc US DVD (including the TV print) and the four-disc version too!

It's a firm favourite of mine
