I don't know how I missed that but don't really mind if it's delayed a bit as the first Jurassic Park is really good and I would buy it as an individual release but, as far as the others are concerned, I'm a bit 'meh'.

Wouldn't be surprised if Spielberg is dictating Jurassic Park. It'll be great eye candy but can we have Jaws please?

I would have thought Jaws would be given for a Blu-ray release with the only question being "When?" It's one of those titles that I will buy almost as soon as it's available.

They could be saving Jaws for the films 35th Anniversary next year.

Jaws was made in '75 Stephen - that would have made its 35th Anniversary last year!

I doubt they will release it on its own just like Alien and Back To The Future.
I thought the 2nd one was a bit meh but quite enjoyed 3rd.

JP holds a special place in my heart, or at least personal history. It was opened on the very first day of my very first job (at a gigantic movie theater -- about 1000-1200 seats in each theater auditorium, and there were two of them). Talk about an exhausting day/weekend that was!

Part II is a ****ing joke and I still don't believe Spielberg directed it all (too amateurish for him). III was much better and much more watchable, though still not great.

I still remember sitting in the cinema excited for it
its one of the all time classics of cinema and without it most of the CGI movies out these days would not exist. I am looking forward to JP4 if it ever gets made as it should have even better effects if ILM are back working on it.

It's a bit ironic, but JP still has better CGI effects than most modern movies' work. Figure that one out.
