Upcoming Non-UK Blu-ray Releases

Just been on Eightyfour Entertainment's website and just saw the fantastic news that they will be releasing a 3-disc mediabook edition of Michele Soavi's Dellamorte Dellamore on BD in April. The dvd is included and also the soundtrack cd. Sweeeeeeeeeet!

Result! I've not seen this yet but heard great things. Do their mediabooks tend to be region locked as I only have my PS3?

I don't know tbh, I haven't bought any of the BD's they've released. The back cover states region B though. I assume it is a region B PS3 you have?

It is excellent news. Although I bought the hardbox dvd from Eightyfour, I'll be pre-ordering the BD too.

What I would like -- and, before you ask, I have absolutely no knowledge of whether this is on the cards -- is for Arrow to give this the full-on treatment and release it on Blu-ray here.

Me too, Nos: It's one of my top choices to get the full Arrow BD works.

I hope that eventually happens as I've heard a lot of good things about Dellamorte Dellamore so really want to see it. However, I am reluctant to splash out on an import copy in case it is released in the UK by Arrow or Shameless.

You should be able to pick up the German Laser Paradise edition pretty cheaply on eBay or Amazon.de, mate.

It's not the best quality print, but certainly watchable if you want to find out whether you like it or not.
