It is that Olive are going to partner with them, yes.

Slasher Video have been teasing a Blu release of Satan's Blade for a long while though, but things had gone a bit quiet of late. Hopefully the Olive deal will see more SV titles get HD upgrades and possibly a few more acquisitions too. As shitty as it is, I have a real affinity for Boardinghouse so would certainly be in for a copy of that.

I was following the Satan's Blade thread with interest, over at bluray.com. It went quiet after a while, and I assumed it had been delayed, which it has, but not 'terminally'. I'm region free, but it will probably be easier to pick up the Olive release.

Severin Films announcement:

U.S. distributors Severin Films have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray two cult films directed by Jess Franco: She Killed in Ecstasy (1971), starring Soledad Miranda, Fred Williams, and Paul Muller, and Vampyros Lesbos (1971), starring Soledad Miranda, Dennis Price, and Ewa Strömberg.
