'ONE DARK NIGHT' (1983) - Returning to Blu-ray and making it's debut as part of the MVD Rewind Collection (#32)

Release date: August 24

"A NIGHT TO REMEMBER UNTIL THE DAY YOU DIE.

World renowned psychic Raymar is found dead after announcing that he had uncovered the secret of how to become even more powerful in death by the use of telekinetic powers. At the same time, two high school girls plan an initiation night for their friend Julie (Meg Tilly, The Big Chill), who is determined to shed her “goody goody” image. Her test is to spend the night locked in the crypt – the same one that Raymar has been buried in that very day.

The crypt soon becomes a battlefield of horror involving unmated special effects with vaults cracking and exploding open, coffins sliding out and splintering open to release decayed corpses at Raymar’s bidding.
The climatic surprise ending will chill the audience and consume them with terror in this shocking tale of horror from writer/director Tom McLoughlin (Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives) that takes you beyond fear!"

Release date: June 25

“We proudly present the HD world premiere of REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS!

This cult film is Tom DeSimone's deeply cynical answer to the "Women in Prison" genre and features a fantastic cast including punk icon Wendy O. Williams (Plasmatics) as well as Pat Ast, Linda Carol and Sybil Danning. HD world premiere with exclusive hd restoration and brand new bonus material.

Almost 3 years working on this title, many setbacks, then filming in the USA under difficult pandemic conditions, list cancellations (german video nasty), etc. But it was worth it!

REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS (aka. Pridemoore) celebrates its HD world premiere with us with exclusive restoration and exclusive bonus material.

The HD master was scanned in 2K a few years ago on the basis of an interpositive. Among other things, the image level was not corrected and defects and dirt were not removed. In cooperation with KTV and Saal Media we have reworked and optimized the master as far as possible to offer you an authentic and harmonious cinema look. In addition, more than 20,000 dirt and defects were removed in complex single frame by frame correction. No autoclean was used.
