Trust me Nos.
The only thing missing was James Bernard's pounding,dramatic score!

Testimony to Radcliffe;
There's a section in the film where there's not a word spoken for easily twenty minutes,EVERYBODY in the audience sat glued.

Watkins has done a grand job of cranking up the tension!

Oooh, definitely checking this out. I've seen the play and thought that was great so will give the film a go. Someone at work today actually said they were surprised it was rated 12A so I guess those excised 7 seconds, as annoying as they are, might not make *that* much of a difference in terms of how scary it is.

I just hope it's on at my local cinema and not the multiplex which I am, admittedly snobbily, trying to avoid. Too many idiots talking through the film these days - had to shout at someone to ''shut the fk up" when I went to see Dragon Tattoo recently.

COME DRINK WITH ME - Great 60's martial arts movie with a 19 year old Cheng Pei Pei. A true classic of the lone Swordswoman genre.
Extras include commentary, interviews, etc.

bdc likes this.

Just seen Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Unbelievably dull, absolutely terrible. It seemed to be one unconnected scene after another with no interesting plot points. The worst Cold War thriller i've ever seen.

Just seen a Horrible way to die

Either im getting bored of todays horror or there is very limited horrors of interest another film that couldnt just couldnt get into and watched for sake of watching..

Kill list..Total YAWN fest dull boring etc ..

Or they go other way round and become so controversial they become type of film that people just dont realy want to watch like Grotesque or bunny game and only apeal to a selected few and become a nightmare for the film to classified..

What wrong with making good old fashioned films like Burning. Tcm. Hills have eyes..No wonder the oldies are always the favourite...

Dont get me wrong there is a few good horrors of today but as i write this i cant think of any so no doubt some one will name a few and remind me

"Targets" is a fantastic film. I had a minor obsession with it years ago after recording it from TV.
