Bit of a HK SHAW BROS. FEST!

Very 70's with plenty of occult shennanigans. First is the best imo though 2 is also a lot of fun. No idea why media blasters stuck a dub on there, or are there people who dont like their stuff subbed?!
I prefer 2, myself.

The Thing (John Carpenter, 1982)

Well, it was a busier crowd than Demons at least, yet again they were quiet (mostly) and the film, which i've seen about 40 times roughly, i felt it showed me something new!!

It was a revelation to see it as twas intended really, the entrails filling up the screen during the "weird and pissed off" sequence especially.

Even though i said that after watching the Straw Dogs remake, i'd feel more favourably towards the prequel....

I now withdraw this statement.

I quite enjoyed Cabin In The Woods too but thought Cube told a similar story better. The cheap CGI annoyed me in Cabin.

Quite enjoyed Piranha 3DD too. I actually prefer it to Aja's remake but I think I may be the only one!
