Best undead films ever made? Certainly come close.

Yeah I liked Ghost Galleon too - certainly the most eerie entry in the series IMO.

Has anybody seen any of de Ossorio's other work? If not, I'd recommend The Loreley's Grasp and Night of the Sorcerers

Watched a pile of stuff today.

First up was 3 Cortes - an anthology of horror shorts (Cheers bitchslicer!)

Next I watched Malefique - a terrific French Horror about black magic.

Finally, I've just finished a Jean Rollin / Brigitte Lahaie double bill with Grapes of Death and Night of the Hunted, which are two of my favourite Rollin films... so it's been a very productive Saturday!

Really enjoyed them... I was disappointed when they ended!

Loved the hospital scenes with the 'zombie attacks' also really liked how the first story was shot, especially the drops of blood spattering on the camera lense during the 'amputation' scenes. Great stuff.

Talking of shorts, I ordered Small Gauge Trauma today, which is a collection of shorts from the 10 year anniversary of the Fantasia Film Festival in 2006. I dunno if you've come across them before, but I am really looking forward to them arriving.

It was a bit like Maniac if you liked that (Loops, maybe you'll like this a bit more ) And it had some really quite tense scenes in there. Check it out if you can
I'll second this,a great little film with a truly excellent start and finish. One of the better films I've watched after reading Thrower's "Nightmare USA".
