I actually thought vampyr was slightly better than nosferatu! Each to their own I guess. Fully on board about charles laughton, a magnificent actor!

I will not leave. I'll just reduce the number of my posts, ignore one or two members, and not answer every single post I don't like. It'll make life a bit easier for all of us. Maybe I'll even post one or two reviews some time...maybe. Let's wait and see.

Vampyres is indeed a classic. Retains a very scary atmosphere even to this day.

Vampyr, not Vampyers. Vampyres is a 1974 British erotic/lesbian vampire horror film directed by José Ramón Larraz that too may be a classic, but I've not seen it . . .

I think Vampyr is brilliant and love the atmosphere. It's been far too long since I saw The Old Dark House, so I'll make a mental note to watch it sometime soon.

Watched 'Don't Look Now' last night - loved it, can't stop thinking about it. Will rewatch asap. I did think the disc was a bit disappointing though. Some scenes looked great, others were very soft. Is this the result of DNR?
