Sorry Stephen, I was there with the invention of requel (and also semake incidentally!) long before you were in my radio-broadcast review of Texas Chainsaw 3D and as you can hear from this clip, I already have Mark Kermode's approval on that one!

LADY HERMIT - Classic Shaw brother's swordplay with the lovely Cheng Pei Pei as the titular hero.
Lots of blood and a body count to rival the Vietnam war. Is it me, or is seeing a cute swords woman decimate a small army hot or not?

Talking of Texas Chainsaw, I see the unrated version is available to download in the US. Is this really where they're heading now? Censored R-rated versions on dvd and blu-ray and uncut versions via digital download? They did the same thing in the US with the unrated version of Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning.

I have no preference. I don't really know myself to be honest!

7 Psychos was not as good as I had hoped but is worth a look none-the-less.

Inbred A film I really didn't like when I saw it at FrightFest in 2011, but I decided to give it a go. Still not really to my taste, but it works better at home. I still feel that this is a film with a really solid setup which could have been much better if it hadn't degenerated into camp stereotypes. Still that is probably why those who like it like it.

from 1934:

Bright Eyes Way to sickly and sweet! Diabetic coma coming on!
Boots! Boots! OMFG I was so bored with this! Grandparents might find it funny.....I'm not a grandparent (at least I don't think I am!)
The Wise Little Hen Looked more like Donald Goose than Donald Duck!
Cleopatra A decent 30's movie but I've seen better!
