That artwork is great BS! Really creepy (crawly).

I watched Ratman again last night - again I enjoyed it. Even if the ending is pretty sudden The little rat/monkey midget man is pretty freaky!

I hate the way people claim that Warbeck uses his own voice when it's clearly not.

Also did you know that Giuliano Carnimeo was sacked as director and replaced by Producer Fabrizio De Angelis?

Had a Bava family night!!

Macabre-Arrow
Great DVD and package, love the artwork/poster and booklet, pity a lot of other companies don't put as much effort into their releases.
Anyway, really enjoyed it. Didn't know what to expect as I'd only ever seen Demons 1 and 2 by Bava Jnr.
Kinda had a real Hitchcock feel to the build up of suspense. Loved the ending too!

Mask of Satan(from the Bava boxset)
I've been missing this for years! Every scene just oozes gothic atmosphere so much so I didn't know what was going on at one stage! I was just enjoying the sets etc! Impressed with some of the FX especially when they remove the mask from the witch.
This is defo a movie that stands up with the best of what Universal were doing in the 30's and Hammer were doing at their peak.
