What a grand display of taste.. good man.

I don't mind these Grindhouse things, but Machete was a bit of a let down.

I like the "f%&* you, I'm 'avin' fun!" thing going on with "Machete". Some inventive, if impossible, ways of killing/dying/surviving! Right up my alley (and no, it's still not a euphemism).

Black Belly of the Tarantula

Another classy giallo given the works by Blue Underground in more productive times.

Machete was just flat. Past the first ten mins nothing seemed to happen for the rest of the film. I expected many things from it, but not to be bored

Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. (1990)

I'd not seen this since the vhs days and was really looking forward to seeing it again. Alas, despite having a fine cast including Christian Slater, Steve Buscemi, Debbie Harry and Julianne Moore the film was almost a total letdown.

Inevitably any horror anthology from the eighties and nineties will get compared to the superb Creepshow films. Unfortunately, apart from the excellent killer mummy on the loose, first segment, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Lot 249, Tales From the DarkSide is sadly lacking. The other two stories Cat from Hell and Lover's Vow are fairly uneventful and not in the least memorable. The wraparound story featuring Debbie Harry is mediocre at best.

own the children of the corn movies on blu. None are classics but for me good solid cheesy, trashy fun. Get em cheaper and their well worth it.
Same for hellraiser, the franchiser thats "an express elevator to hell going straight down... in quality!! " Again some of them are fun but dont pay too much.
