I'm waiting for season 4 of Dexter to start on FX in the new year. I hope to get the first two seaons on DVD off Santa. I've just finished reading the books too.

Had a bit of a McDowell triple bill over the weekend.

Watched TIME AFTER TIME.An original and refreshing little sci-fi number, with Malc as HG Wells, following Jack The Ripper through time to modern Los Angeles.

Followed by A CLOCKWORK ORANGE on Blu Ray-best it's ever looked and sounded!

Finished by BLUE THUNDER.A great '80's actioner with Roy Scheider in fine form.
Malc is rather camp as his adversary.....'Catch ya later'

Some great viewings guys!

"Atlantis Interceptors" is good fun. I have an uncut DVD-R.
Crystal Skull!!

"Time After Time" is excellent. A wonderful mix of comedy, sci-fi, horror and drama.

The second "Lady Snowblood" film is slower and not as gory...but it's much darker and the finale delivers.

Watched the original "Sleuth".
Too long, too self indulgent, and a slightly confused but generally obvious twist.
Only the great Caine and Sir Larry himself give us anything to really enjoy.

Eyeball
; Fun Lenzi giallo, that goes someway towards banishing the memory of his later horros from the late 80's like The House of Witchcraft. Good Bruno Nicholai score aswell.

I only wish the dvd used that brilliant artwork above.

It was the same as that, with a German title.I'm sure they had the usual 3 different covers for 'Eyeball'.
Not one of the better Giallo flicks imo....

Sleepwalkers

Good Lord! What a preposterous yet thoroughly enjoyable stumbling romp into silliness! I didn't know Mick Garris had it in him!

Utter shit but great fun with it. And Clovis the cat is surely one of cinema's all time great heroes.
